Here at the TennCoons cattery, our kittens are raised underfoot and are never caged.  Our kittens spend time with their mother in a kitten room where they are not disturbed by the "big cats". It is the cattery's goal to raise healthy, well adjusted Maine Coons that will bond well with the new familes.  Our kittens do not leave the cattery until they are at least 12 weeks of age.   This assures the kitten is healthy, well adjusted and has acquired good litter box habits. In addition, the extra weeks to interact with siblings and human contact produce a well socialized kitten.
